SBC – Simple Brightness Control

If you ever needed to adjust the brightness of your screen and you don’t have dedicated keys for that on your keyboard (or you are using them as shortcuts for something else like I do) and you had to do more than one action to adjust the brightness level, then you will understand my problem: I hate clicking 8 buttons, opening 4 tabs and scroll 12 times until I get the brightness level where I need it.
I need to do it in a single, repetitive action, that can be done without even thinking about. So I figured that SBC will have only one button: no sliders, no plus, and minus, no nothing. And to save some screen real estate I decided to display the button in the system tray.
It’s extremely simple – at startup, it will set the brightness level to the minimum than the maximum in order to define the range after that it will set the default level (50%).  Tap the button once to reduce brightness level by 10(out of 100) and after you reach 0 if you tap again it will start again from 100.
Problem solved, under in 30 lines…
P.S. it was supposed to run at startup by default but I’ve done a little mistake:
My.Computer.Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey(“SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun”, True).SetValue(Application.ProductName, Application.ExecutablePath)
P.S.S I will fix that later…
P.S.S.S  in fact, I won’t…so just hit WinKey+ R type Shell:startup and paste SBC.exe in there
